Minisink Church Cemetery
Old Mine Rd.
Map / Directions to the Minisink Church Cemetery
This small cemetery on Old Mine Road is very easy to miss if you are driving by. It has no fence or walls. It just has a few old tombstones. There is a small marker (pictured above) with a plaque that reads "Minisink Church 1737". On either side of it are 2 Revolutionary War markers. There is no actual church or building of any kind next to the cemetery.
Within the cemetery is at least one marked grave of a Revolutionary War soldier, although the stone itself is no longer readable. (Shown below).
More information about this cemetery will be posted as soon as it becomes available. If anyone has any information about the cemetery, or the Revolutionary War soldier(s) buried here, please contact us.
Approximately 6 miles south on Old Mine Road in Sandyston is another small cemetery with Revolutionary War soldiers.
